Strictly Come Dancing
I worked as part of the Strictly digital team as Lead Digital Producer for six series, spanning 2017-2022. During my time on the show, I was instrumental in creating the tone of voice and leading on all copywriting across social platforms, the brand website and original content scripts. This fast-paced studio environment required strong editorial judgement and an eye for accuracy at all times, which I consistently delivered, maintaining high standards across all of the show’s highly-engaged platforms.
In addition, I led on weekly shoot coordination, set dressing and producing talent on camera, as well as building strong digital strategies to launch on new platforms such as TikTok. Creative ideas were a must on the BBC’s flagship Saturday night entertainment show, so constantly coming up with new concepts, being embedded in the content capture, editing and posting process - as well as managing the Strictly accounts with millions of followers - were all in a day’s work.
